PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The proposal involves construction of a 50 bed 5 star hotel facilities to cater tor business visitors and holiday
makers to Mombasa as well as provide gaming and conference and entertainment facililies.
the hotel will be located in the central business District of Mombasa Island with an estimated market share of
27,375 room occupancy per year in year one rising to 43,800 room occupancy in year 5. Although there are
moderns tourist hotels in Mombasa, especially along the South and North Coast, there are relatively
few hotels on the Mombasa Island with modern facilities to cater lor the upper class tourist. The
establisilment ot the hotel will open up up the Island for up upmarket tourist.

For total investment costs is estimated at US$ 12.65 millions. This is expected to be financed as follows:
