Ownership:  The ranch is owned by a limited Company where all shares are
fully subscribed.  It is being sold on walk-in-walk-out basis.  The sale
will only involve transfer of shares owned, the process which is very easy
to transact as it requires no bureaucracy.

Size:  The ranch is 60,000 acres out of which 20,000 acres are used by wildlife.

Location:  The ranch is located about 160 km to the North of Nairobi, the
capital of Kenya and around the equator.  It lies on the plain between the
snow capped Mount Kenya to the North and Aberdare Ranges to the South where
the four permanent rivers which transverse the ranch originate.

Accessibility:  It is accessible through:-

I)  Two tarmacked roads-Nairobi - Kiganjo - Nanyuki
     Road and Nairobi - Nyeri - Nyahururu road.  The latter
     Passes through the ranch Headquarters.

ii)  Railway line - Nairobi - Kiganjo - Naromoro - Nanyuki
     Line forms the Northern boundary of the ranch.

iii)  A very good airstrip used by tourists who frequent the 
      Ranch for game viewing and photographing.

Services:  This is perhaps one of the most highly developed ranches in East
Africa with the following facilities:

(I)  Water - Available in every paddock of the ranch.

(ii)  Electricity - Three phase mains power exists.

(iii)  Telephone - Available.

iv)  Machinery and ranch building - Available and more than adequate.

v)  Fencing - The whole ranch is fenced into 100 paddocks with one big- pad-
dock (20,000) for game and others for cattle.  Over 160 miles of good fence
is maintained with that of game paddock electrified.

vi)  Game - Over 100 white and black Rhinos, over 4,000 plain game and a
variety of birds are found.  A permit for cropping and sale of game in order
to maintain ecological balance is available.

vii)  Roads - Over 200 miles of roads are found.

viii)  Piping - Over 14 miles of pipes of various sizes are in place.

ix)  Cattle- Between 6,000 - 6,500 head charlois and Boran crosses are found.

Potential:  Great ranch potential exist for:- 

i)  Expansion and development of tourist attractions in order to capitalize
on available game and other wildlife available from neighboring ranches.

ii)  Growing of horticultural crops such as table flowers, various seeds
etc, using the water from available permanent rivers / wheat and barley
farming, and exportation of the same.

iii)  Leasing portions of the ranch for horticultural purposes.

iv)  Livestock development
